Lagniappe Designs does not typically do the basecoat painting for the faux finishes.  LD may recommend a painter if you need one.  LD does recommend a good quality paint for the basecoat. The highest quality paint for the lowest dollar amount is found at Sugar Land Paint and Decor 13817 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land 77478 (281.265.3125).  They carry Pratt & Lambert paint and will direct you on the best type for your job.

When you schedule a consultation for a faux finishing proposal, LD will arrive with a sample of their work and a portfolio of photos.  They will look at the space you need help with and determine the best option for treatment.  Should you require sample boards to be made, there will be a $100 fee (a maximum of 3 boards) for this service.  You will receive a written proposal within 3 days of the meeting unless stated otherwise.  The next step is to hire LD by giving them a deposit of 50% of the total proposal.  At this time, the job will be scheduled.  The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project.

When you schedule a consultation for determining what colors to paint your home or business, LD will arrive with several different color charts and pictures.  LD will discuss your likes and dislikes.  You will be given a list of paint colors they recommend.  You will be instructed to do test samples on the wall before buying large quanities.  After doing so, you may wish to call LD back for another consultation to see the colors on your walls and help determine at that time if they are the right choice.  The fee is $50 per hour with a minimum of one hour per visit.
